Quick login & access checklist
- Verify you are on the official domain or the verified distribution portal before entering credentials.
- If BlockFi’s platform login isn't available, check the Kroll distributions/claims portal for instructions on receiving distributions or submitting identity verification.
- Use known 2-factor auth apps (Authenticator, Authy). Avoid SMS 2FA when possible.
- Never share passwords, seed phrases, or account verification codes in emails or DMs.
Troubleshooting common login issues
Page refreshes or login loop
Try clearing browser cache, using a private/incognito window, disabling browser extensions (ad blockers, privacy tools), and ensuring cookies are enabled.
Forgot password / can't reset
Use the official reset link (if available). If BlockFi's original login is no longer accepting resets, follow the official claims/distribution portal guidance to update contact info for distributions.
2FA problems
If you lost 2FA access, look for official account recovery instructions on the restructuring portal. Prepare identity documents — many distribution processes require identity verification. Never follow recovery instructions received by unverified third parties.
Account security best practices
- Use a unique password + password manager.
- Enable authenticator-based 2FA (not SMS) where possible.
- Validate URLs carefully and confirm HTTPS and certificate ownership if in doubt.
- Report suspicious pages or phishing to your email provider and the official portal.
